Emma is our Pastor of Children & Youth here at BAC. She officially joined the staff team on April 4, 2023, as our Youth Director, and in July 2024, she transitioned to become our Pastor of Children & Youth. Emma oversees the Children's Ministries (Birth to Grade 5), Jr. High Ministries, Youth Band, Youth Serve Team, and Quizzing Team.

Emma graduated from Tyndale University in 2022 with a double major in Biblical Studies and Philosophy. She began attending BAC in 2020 and quickly got involved with the Audio/Visual team, serving for two years and eventually becoming a camera and switcher trainer. In 2021, Emma started serving in the Jr. High ministry, and in 2022, she joined the Kids ministry team. She also spent three summers as a summer grant staff and completed a nine-month internship under our former Children's Pastor.

"I truly love serving at BAC and feel incredibly blessed that God has called me here. One of my greatest joys is walking alongside kids and youth as they discover how deeply Jesus loves them, grow in their faith, and learn what it means to follow Him in every area of life. I don't see students as simply "the next generation" of the Church—I believe they are a vital part of the Church today. God is already working in and through them, and I love helping them discover the unique ways He has gifted and called them to make an impact for His Kingdom right now. It's also a privilege to serve alongside our amazing Kids and Youth leaders, as together we encourage every student to know Christ, love Him deeply, and live boldly for Him."

Emma is passionate about the local church, seeing lives transformed by the love of God, and encouraging others to use their gifts to serve both within and outside the church. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, fishing, riding go-karts, and reading.
