Olwyn is the Office Manager at BAC. She joined the staff team in August 2025. She looks after all the financial records for the church; this includes keeping track of the money coming in and the money going out and making sure ministry funds are distributed accordingly. Numbers are her thing – she tracks stats, makes sure that the budgets are up-to-date and reports financials to the Treasurer. She enjoys working with and handling the administrative needs of the Pastoral Staff, Elders, Ministry Teams, and Congregants at BAC.

Olwyn was born in Northern Ireland and moved to Canada when she was 10 months old. She grew up in a Christian home and accepted Jesus at the age of 12. She graduated from McMaster University with a degree in music. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Olwyn has been attending BAC since 1996. She has been involved in the worship ministry by playing the keys since she has been at BAC. She enjoys leading others into worship on a Sunday morning. In 2024 she took on a leadership role in the Youth Band. Olwyn loves building relationships with the youth and watching them grow in their musical abilities as well as their spiritual lives.

A favourite verse for Olwyn is Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Olwyn loves being a part of the BAC staff team and serving her church family.
