At Bramalea Alliance Church, we believe that kids and youth are not the next generation, but that they are the generation of today. We are committed to creating an environment where they can actively serve, grow in their faith, and become leaders even at a young age.

    Through our serve teams, we aim to mentor and invest in these young hearts, equipping them with the skills and spiritual depth they need to make a lasting impact. It's not just about preparing them for tomorrow but empowering them to serve right now, as they are.

    We believe that through serving, kids and youth can develop a Christ-like heart of compassion, humility, and selflessness. Our goal is to help them recognize that every act of service, no matter how small, is a reflection of their faith and love for God. We want to nurture within them a servant's heart, just as Jesus demonstrated during His time on earth.

    Kids Serve Team (Grade 4 & 5's)

     

    Wednesdays | 5:45 - 6:30 PM  October to May

    Church isn't something kids should just watch-it's something they can be part of! The Kids Serve Team gives our Grade 4 and 5 students an opportunity to step up, serve others, and take an active role in Kid Crew on Wednesday nights.

    Our Kids Serve Team helps with both set up and worship at Kid Crew. It's a chance for students to use their gifts, learn what it means to serve, and help create a fun and welcoming environment for the younger kids coming to Kid Crew.

    Being part of the Kids Serve Team is also an opportunity for students to grow as leaders. As they take on responsibility, they learn about accountability, dependability, teamwork, and what it means to follow through when others are counting on them. Our leaders walk alongside them, helping them develop confidence, discover their gifts, and learn how to lead with humility and a servant's heart.

    We believe it's never too early to help kids discover the joy of serving. When kids are given meaningful opportunities to serve, they begin to see that church isn't just a place they come to-it's a community they belong to and have an important part in.

    Youth Serve Team (Grade 6 - 12's)

    Study on 2nd Sunday of the month | 12:00 - 1:00 PM  October to June

    The Youth Serve Team is an opportunity for both Junior and Senior High students who want to put their faith into action and make a difference in the church and in our community. This is more than simply volunteering-it's about learning what it means to live a life of service, share the love of Jesus, and be part of what God is doing around us.

    Throughout the year, our Serve Team takes part in a variety of outreach and evangelistic opportunities. We partner with organizations like the Fellowship of Christian Farmers, serve at community events, hand out hot chocolate during the Santa Claus Parade, serve with Regeneration, and look for other ways to serve and connect with people in our community.

    We also believe that serving starts with knowing Jesus and understanding why we serve. Our team gathers once a month for Bible study, discussion, fellowship, and mentorship. These times give students the opportunity to dive into Scripture, talk about what it looks like to serve with the right heart, grow in their faith, and learn how to share Jesus with the people around them.

    Being part of the Youth Serve Team is a commitment. Interested students can contact Pastor Emma to apply to join the team. Throughout the year, students are intentionally mentored and encouraged as they grow in their faith and leadership. We want to invest in students, help them grow as leaders, and give them opportunities to step up and take ownership of their faith. And yes, we have a lot of fun along the way!
